Paranormal Intruder – The True Story of a Family in Fear

Read below to find out more about this best selling book.

‘An innocent family find themselves completely helpless against the sudden onset of paranormal activity in their quiet rural home. A knife embedded in a kitchen cupboard, crockery smashed by invisible hands, and blood-chilling growls emit from thin air. Caroline and her husband Neil search for answers as they try to protect their family from the unseen entity that seems determined to rip them apart.

The biggest question looms over them like a dark cloud…who is going to help us? There are emergency services for many things, but not of this nature. It might be easier to believe temporary insanity, if not for the vast amount of witnesses. Police, fire services, mediums, priests and investigators all become embroiled in the mystery.

The family struggle to cope and Caroline grows concerned for her husband’s failing health as he withdraws from the world. However, the entity has only just begun.

Paranormal Intruder is the true story of one families brave fight against an invisible entity. Described as one of the best-documented cases of paranormal activity, this page turning book will stay with you long after you have finished reading it.’

‘Caroline Mitchell’s story of paranormal encounters in her own home is simply astonishing, mesmerising and scary. The fact Caroline had the bravery to expose and reveal this unusual phenomenon whilst still being a police officer is quite courageous. I highly recommend this extraordinary story.

Caroline Mitchell reminds us that truth is indeed stranger than fiction, and events of extreme strangeness are rarely as well witnessed and well described as in this remarkable book.

You don’t know him. But he knows you.

Soon he would be able to touch her, to feel the warmth of her blood. And when the time came, nothing would stop him.
As D.C. Jennifer Knight investigates a routine stabbing in the quiet town of Haven, she is shocked at what seems like a personal message from beyond the grave.

When more bodies are found, Jennifer is convinced the killings are somehow linked. What she discovers is more chilling than she could possibly imagine. The murders mirror those of the notorious Grim Reaper – from over twenty years ago. A killer her mother helped convict.

Jennifer can no longer ignore the personal connection. Is there a copycat killer at work? Was the wrong man convicted? Or is there something more sinister at play …

With her mother’s terrifying legacy spiralling out of control, Jennifer must look into her own dark past in a fight not only to stop a killer – but to save herself and those she loves.

A heart-stopping supernatural thriller to engross fans of Rachel Abbott, Paul Finch and James Oswald.

  1. Hi Caroline. Your story sounds fascinating. I grew up in a ‘haunted house’ til I was 10 yrs old. Since then, i’ve experienced paranormal activity on & off. Recently it seems to be more frequent. From hearing blood-curdling screams in my ear (my husband was beside me on the sofa – and heard nothing!), to my husband being hit, horrible feelings of dread, banging noises etc. I don’t know what to do about it. My husband says to ignore it, don’t pay it any attention and it’ll go away. But whatever ‘it’ is seems to have followed me all my life. No matter where I move, the activity inevitably starts again. I can’t wait to read your book to see how you dealt with it. Thankyou for telling your story – I don’t feel so alone in this nightmare now. Lots of love. Gayle Garth

    1. Thank you so much Gayle, I really appreciate your comments. One of the worst thing about our experiences from the beginning was how alone we felt. As you know, it is truly awful to go through such terrifying experiences without having anyone to confide in, or worse still, being classed as ‘mad’ by unsympathetic non-believers. I’m so sorry that you are going through this too, and I hope that one day you find peace. We still have this ‘entity’ in our lives, but we have learned to live with it to a certain extent, and at the moment it’s under control. You are welcome to email us anytime you need to talk in private. I know it’s very difficult but try to focus on things that make you happy, don’t give it any of your attention if you can help it, as they seem to feed on fear. See my page ‘who ya gonna call’ for some advice, and keep in touch.
      Take care,
      Caroline
